ABOUT
Celia Miller's music career spans three decades of performing, songwriting, and teaching. She credits her pedagogy to the Speech Level Singing method in which she was certified by Master teachers from 2008-2014. With over 15 years of voice coaching, Celia teaches at her Holyoke studio and has taught Jazz/Contemporary Vocal at Greenfield Community College of Massachusetts as well as voice and piano at The Springfield Conservatory. Celia loves teaching music theory, reading, plays jazz, and bossa nova, folk, pop, R&B on guitar, and accompanies her students on piano. Celia’s decades long regional performing - solo and in bands - means she brings a wealth of experience to her work with performing artists. She teaches songwriting from her own background of song-crafting and publishing. Her biannual "Singers Cafe's" provide all her students with performance opportunities to hone their stagecraft and work with live bands.
